With the new The Flame Awakens Update, or in other words, version 6.3, a new Mine System was introduced. With that, you now have the ability to send cookies into the mines to gather useful resources, battle enemies, and even craft valuable items. So, what is this mine system, what does it do, and how do you find them? Let's find out.

CookieRun Kingdom Mine System Guide

What is the Mine System in Cookie Run: Kingdom?

The Mine System is a kingdom facility that you can access as a Cookie Run: Kingdom beginner or as a veteran from the "Into the Depths" feature. As we already said, this is a place to assign several Cookies to venture into a mine with up to 200 floors.

The cookies in the Cookie Run: Kingdom tier list here will explore the mines, mine Ore Veins, engage in battles, and even collect various resources. So, if you want some more upgraded material for crafting, the mine system works best for you. It brings more Soulstones as well as both Crystals and Coins, and as a separate venue from the main kingdom, it gives you a unique gameplay time with more unique mechanisms.

The Mine System has different uses for the game and purposes as follows:

  • Resource Gathering: Cookies mine Ore Veins to collect materials like Choco Chalk, Fossils, and Agar Cubes.
  • Crafting: You can craft Common, Rare, and Epic Topping Tarts using components earned in the Mines.

  • Battles: Mine Battles, including Cookie Battles and MyCookie Battles, reward players with additional items like Beascuit Dough and Power Gems.
  • Progression: Clearing floors and upgrading the Mining Cart enhance rewards and efficiency.

How to Unlock the Mine System

Before mining, you have to unlock the system and the Cookie Run: Kingdom will first require you to access the facility named Into the Depth. You can then follow these steps to unlock your mine system.

Achieve the Cookie Castle Level 6

First, you have to upgrade your Cookie Castle to level 6, and this can be done by completing tasks and gathering resources. Upgrade costs are not too high here, and there are only simple tasks to follow up on. The resources that you need here can be collected from the usual gameplay. If you want a quick process, then you can buy them from the shop.

Clear the Northeast Forest

The next step is to clear the forest. You can expand your kingdom's territory by clearing the forest near the mines, which are usually located in the northeast corner of your kingdom. For this, you'll need Aurora Bricks, Aurora Com, and Enchanted Stakes, which can all be produced at Smithy level 5. Then, you will have the ability to clear each section of the forest.

Into the Depths Quest

Into the Depths Quest

Into the Depth, Quests are going to appear right after you have done clearing the forest. If it still does not appear to you, then you may have to progress through several story quests further. This quest will be already available for those who have achieved level 6 of their cookie castle. After clearing the forest, the "Into the Depths" quest should appear on the right side of your screen.

Construct the Mines

For the last step, you can build the "Into the Depths" facility, which will require you to use resources like Aurora materials, which can be obtained from the Event Shop or Seaside Market. The construction process is very quick, and you will be rewarded with 20,000 Coins, 30,000 Kingdom EXP, and a Topping Tart upon completion.

How to Mine in the Mine System

And now, how we can mine in the Cookie Run: Kingdom mine system? If you unlock this system, you will be able to assign up to 60 cookies to roam the mines via the "Into the Depths" dashboard. And if you are a Cookie Run: Kingdom beginner, you can follow this process to mine there simply.

Stepping into the Mines

  • Assign Cookies: first, assign your preferred cookies there. You can select Cookies to venture into the Mines. Every cookie has an HP bar of 250, which is not the battle HP when they enter here, and the more they explore, the less HP will be.
  • Progressing through the Floors: your cookies are going to start the journey at Floor 1 and can descend to Floor 200. Every one of these floors grants rewards upon clearing, with deeper floors offering better rewards when fully cleared
  • HP Management: digging into the mines consumes HP. So, when a Cookie's HP reaches zero, they will no longer be able to explore until they recover. Recovery happens over time, but you can designate up to 4 Cookies to Quick Rest Seats to recover HP twice as fast.
  • Cookie Traits: Introduced in the The Flame Awakens update, Cookie Traits affect performance in the Mines. Some Traits can boost Venture efficiency, others improve Ore Vein mining, and some offer buffs in one mode but debuffs in another. These traits are based on a Cookie's personality and are visible only in the Mines.

If you find it hard to handle the mining with your usual cookies, make sure to summon more LDMultiplayer feature can be used efficiently here to create different instances of the game to be operated at once. So, the process is going to be much easier to reach an effective cookie in a short time period.

Mining Ore Veins

Ore veins can be obtained through Ventures, which represent resource nodes that Cookies can mine. There are three types of them:

Mining Ore Veins

  • Common Veins: these require Cookies of a specific type (e.g., Magic, Defense).
  • Rare Veins: these veins require Cookies with a specific Trait.
  • Epic Veins: these are also Trait-based but yield higher rewards.

Here, you can assign up to 4 Cookies to mine an Ore Vein, and each of them has a mining requirement, and Cookies with matching types or Traits mine more efficiently. Mining can bring you more resources like Choco Chalk, Fossils, and Coins. that the fossils found in Ore Veins are very useful in the Mines to unlock rewards, such as Crystals or Soulstones.

Mine Battles

We have mine battles as well, and there are two types of them:

Mine Battles

  • Cookie Battles: these are standard battles that use a team of 5 Cookies. Winning here is rewarding Agar Cubes and Beascuit Dough.
  • MyCookie Battles: these are solo battles where you control MyCookie, and you can earn Agar Cubes and Power Gems upon winning here.

You can access all these battles with Mine Battle Cards, which you can earn during Ventures. After completing these battles, you will be able to collect up to 3 Agar Cubes per battle. You can also melt Agar Cubes in the Mines to receive rewards like Soulstones or Soulprisms.

Using Venture Tools and Cart Upgrades

Make sure to use some tools and upgrades for mining as well, as they can help you complete this process easily and effectively. So here are the methods that we can recommend to you.

Using Venture Tools and Cart Upgrades

  • Venture Tool Cards: These provide temporary boosts during Ventures, such as increased rewards or faster exploration. Try to add them to the Miner Pack before starting a Venture.
  • Cart Upgrade Cards: these cards can permanently upgrade the Mining Cart, improving efficiency and rewards for all future Ventures. Examples include increased resource drops or reduced HP consumption.
  • Obtaining Cards: Both types of cards are earned by clearing floors during Ventures.
