If a DLC is to be discarded, it is displayed in red and a ringtone sounds.
The app rings every 30 minutes so you don't forget to wash your hands.
If the app is not in the foreground or is closed, a notification will appear when an ingredient's DLC expires.
In the options menu it is possible:
